About the festival

Welcome to IFEMA+, Sweden’s oldest film festival entirely dedicated to women’s+ filmmaking. The 20th festival theme is COMMUNITY, which is reflected in the films and the many collaborations with film festivals and local organizations, such as Filmcentrum Syd, Oberoende Filmares Förbund, Malmö Arab Film Festival, BUFF Malmö, Ubuntu Malmö Filmfestival and Lund Fantastic Film Festival. Our program offers a wide selection of features, shorts, documentaries, panel discussions, work in progress and social events.
